Trump Wants To Meet Kim Jong-un, But Kim Responds With Missile That Can Hit All US States

According to a report by Firstpost, on Tuesday October 13, 2026, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has delivered a striking visual response to Donald Trump’s expressed interest in a renewed diplomatic summit, choosing to showcase a powerful intercontinental ballistic missile capable of reaching the United States.

The timing of the display, coming immediately on the heels of Trump’s remarks regarding a potential meeting during an upcoming Asia summit, underscores Pyongyang’s hardline stance despite diplomatic overtures.

Following Donald Trump’s public statements expressing a desire to sit down with the North Korean leader once again, Pyongyang’s response was swift and unambiguous.

Rather than issuing a standard diplomatic statement, Kim Jong-un opted for a high-profile military demonstration.

“Donald Trump says he wants to meet Kim Jong-un. And how did the North Korean leader respond? With a photo shoot. Kim Jong-un posed with a missile that can hit anywhere in the United States. Talk about bringing a little something to the negotiating table.”

The display featured advanced hardware designed to project strategic reach directly toward American territory, sending a clear message about Pyongyang’s military readiness.

“Kim Jong-un has showcased the nuclear capable 20, an intercontinental ballistic missile that can reach all American states and territories. And just look at the timing. It comes right after Trump said he wanted to meet Kim Jong-un during his upcoming Asia summit.”

Analysts note that the messaging behind the photo op is unmistakable, juxtaposing Washington’s diplomatic overtures with North Korea’s ongoing nuclear advancements.

“Kim’s message to Trump seems quite simple. The invitation to meet may be diplomatic, but the background remains nuclear.”
