“Tinubu, Pay Me More Money”- Portable Cries Out After APC Rally In Lagos

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has called on President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu, to give him additional money following his appearance at an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Lagos.

The rally, held on Tuesday at Onikan Stadium, was organised in support of the Tinubu-Shettima political ticket. Portable was among the entertainers present to entertain the crowd and encourage supporters at the event.

The singer reportedly became physically exhausted while participating in activities at the venue, where a large crowd had gathered.

A video circulating on social media captured the moment Portable was seen lying on the floor, apparently struggling to recover after the event. His manager, Babylov, was also spotted attempting to help him get back on his feet as they prepared to leave the stadium.

Reports attributed the singer’s collapse to the overcrowded conditions at the venue.

Despite the incident, Portable was determined to speak with President Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu before leaving. He complained that the physical stress he experienced at the rally deserved additional compensation.

Although he acknowledged that he had already received payment for his appearance, the singer insisted that the amount was insufficient, considering what he claimed to have endured at the event.

Speaking about the incident, Portable said: “I want to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu; they have almost squeezed me to death. I have fainted; it is Tinubu that is winning. Did we not collect money? Tinubu, pay me more money; I am feeling so much heat.”

The incident has drawn attention to Portable’s conduct at the political gathering, with the singer making his demand for additional payment known despite having already received money for his appearance.
