Section 144 Imposed Across Mirpurkhas Division Until October 26

MIRPURKHAS  –  Commissioner Mirpurkhas Divi­sion Shahmir Khan Bhutto on Tuesday imposed restrictions under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) across the division for 15 days, from Oc­tober 12 to 26, 2026, to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents. Under the order, public gatherings of more than five people, protests, sit-ins, rallies and processions are pro­hibited without prior permission from the competent authority. Blocking roads, disrupting traffic flow and obstructing emergency services have also been banned. The order further prohibits the display or carrying of weapons, ammunition, sticks and other po­tentially harmful objects.
