SASSA Confirms November 2026 Grant Payment Dates and Amounts

Beneficiaries of the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) are expected to receive their November 2026 social grants over three consecutive days at the beginning of the month. The payment schedule is arranged according to grant categories to help beneficiaries access their money in an orderly manner.

Older persons grants are scheduled for Tuesday, 3 November, followed by disability grants on Wednesday, 4 November. Payments for children’s grants will take place on Thursday, 5 November. Beneficiaries are encouraged to familiarise themselves with their respective payment dates to avoid unnecessary delays and confusion.

The grant amounts are expected to remain unchanged from recent payment cycles. Older persons and disability grant beneficiaries will receive R2,400 each, while war veterans will receive R2,420. Care dependency grants are also set at R2,400, and foster child grant recipients will receive R1,300.

Meanwhile, beneficiaries receiving the child support grant and grant-in-aid will each receive R580. Those who qualify for the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant will receive R370. Beneficiaries should ensure their banking information is accurate and their accounts remain active to prevent possible payment complications.

SASSA also advises recipients to take note of changes that may affect the payment schedule. When a scheduled payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday, payments may be moved to the next available business day.

Beneficiaries who experience delays should allow two to three business days after their expected payment date before seeking assistance. Those who still have not received their money can contact SASSA through its official helpline at 0800 60 10 11 or visit their nearest agency office for further guidance.

To reduce overcrowding, recipients are advised to avoid visiting payment points on the first day their grants become available. Grant money does not have to be withdrawn immediately, as beneficiaries can access their funds later.

For the latest announcements, payment updates and information about grant eligibility, beneficiaries should consult SASSA’s official website. Staying informed and checking personal banking details ahead of time can help ensure a smoother payment process.
