RIP: Beautiful Photo of Businesswoman Shot Dead by Boyfriend After Bitter Fallout in Kisii

A photo has emerged of Veronica Kerubo Morande, a 30-year-old businesswoman who was allegedly shot dead by her boyfriend, Vincent Mosioma Michieka, in Kisii town following a reported disagreement.

Vincent also died after reportedly turning the gun on himself.The tragic incident occurred at around 11 pm when most businesses had closed for the night. Veronica was still at her workplace, Credit Building Glassmatt Shop in Kisii Township, when Vincent reportedly arrived.

Veronica was a hard-working entrepreneur who had invested in growing her business.

She dealt in glass, building fittings and medium density fibreboard, commonly known as MDF boards, supplying materials to customers across the region.

Her business success had enabled her to acquire two lorries used to transport goods. Her investments reflected her determination to expand her enterprise and secure a better future.

According to reports, Veronica and Vincent had been in a relationship that had recently encountered difficulties.

People familiar with their situation indicated that Veronica had allegedly discovered that Vincent was married and had two children.Following the discovery, she reportedly began distancing herself from him and wanted to end the relationship.

However, the situation allegedly took a tragic turn when Vincent visited her business premises that night. Police investigations indicate that an argument broke out after he allegedly accessed Veronica’s phone and found messages exchanged with another man.

During the confrontation, Vincent reportedly pulled out a Beretta pistol and shot Veronica. The sound of gunfire attracted the attention of people nearby, including a boda boda rider who raised the alarm.

Veronica was rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment.

Vincent was also taken to the same facility after reportedly shooting himself. Sadly, both died from their injuries.

Police recovered a Beretta pistol bearing the reported serial number PX7788F, alongside ammunition and spent cartridges.

The firearm was taken for forensic examination as detectives continued investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Veronica’s death has left her family, friends and business associates mourning a woman remembered for her dedication to business and her efforts to build a successful enterprise.
