Paul Yandoh Wants To Know If I’m Really A Lawyer He Should Attack Frank Amoakohene Again By Sam

Yandoh had expressed doubt about how the minister managed to qualify as a lawyer while handling a busy public schedule. He suggested it was surprising that George pursued legal studies successfully amid his ministerial duties.

Responding in an interview on Oyerepa TV on 13 October 2026, Sam George dismissed the concerns. He said the time Yandoh spends on social media is the same time he devoted to studying.

“If he wants to know that I am a lawyer, he should offend Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, again, and he will see what I will do to him in court,” George stated.

The minister was referring to recent comments by Yandoh, who rated Ashanti Regional Minister Dr Frank Amoakohene’s performance at 20 per cent and claimed the minister’s main achievement was “giving birth.” George suggested that if Yandoh attacked Amoakohene again, it would give him the chance to demonstrate his legal skills in court.

George was among several public figures called to the Ghana Bar earlier in October 2026. He serves as Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations and is the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram.

The exchange adds to the ongoing political banter between ruling party officials and opposition figures. Yandoh has been critical of government performance in the Ashanti Region, while George has defended his credentials and challenged critics to test them.

The remarks highlight the sharp rhetoric that often characterises political discourse in Ghana, where personal and professional credentials frequently become subjects of public debate.
