Of All The Names Published As Tinubu’s PCC Yesterday,Rufai Oseni & Ayo Ese Only Saw My Name–Olayinka

Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has taken a swipe at Arise Television presenters Rufai Oseni and Ayo Mairo-Ese after they mentioned his name during a discussion on President Bola Tinubu’s newly reconstituted Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

Olayinka made the statement on Wednesday morning following an analysis of the campaign council’s newly rejigged list during Arise TV’s Morning Show. 

The council’s Directorate of Media and Strategic Communications was among the areas discussed ahead of its formal inauguration by Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday.

Reacting to the presenters’ comments, Olayinka suggested that Mairo-Ese had focused on his name despite the numerous other individuals listed as members of the directorate.

“Of all the people whose names were published yesterday as members of the PBAT/APC Presidential Campaign Council’s Directorate of Media and Strategic Communications, @ayomairoese of @ARISEtv Morning Show only saw Lere Olayinka,” he wrote.

He followed the criticism with a sarcastic remark, linking the presenters’ discussion of his inclusion in the campaign council to his combative political style.

“I hope this one dey sleep well with her husband on top Lere Olayinka’s ‘No Gree For Anybody’s’ style like this,” Olayinka added, accompanied by laughing emojis.

The exchange followed the media review of Tinubu’s updated campaign council list ahead of its inauguration, with Olayinka’s inclusion attracting attention during the programme. 

However, his reaction did not address the specific points raised by the presenters about his appointment to the campaign structure.
