Mourinho has reportedly draws line over Endrick’s future at Real Madrid.
According to a report from FootballTransfers, on Wednesday October 14, 2026, José Mourinho has rejected the idea of loaning Endrick out in January, despite the young forward’s limited playing time at Real Madrid.
Endrick spent the second half of last season on loan at Lyon. Another temporary move was expected, but reports say Mourinho persuaded the 20-year-old to stay. Since then, Endrick has played just four minutes this season, prompting interest from clubs including AC Milan, Roma and Aston Villa.
Mourinho made his position clear when asked about a possible departure. He said interested clubs would have to “fight” him, adding that he believes Endrick has the potential to succeed at Real Madrid and does not need another loan.
The Brazilian joined Madrid from Palmeiras in 2024 for a reported €47.5 million. He has scored once in 24 La Liga appearances. At Lyon, he netted eight goals in 21 games across all competitions, including an early hat-trick.
A pre-season injury and competition for places have limited his opportunities this campaign. Still, Mourinho considers him an important part of the squad, while Endrick’s agent has recently indicated that the forward expects to remain at the club for the long term.
