Lil Wayne Reveals Top 3 Dream Wedding Performers Ahead of Nuptials to Fiancée Madi Cannon

The rapper further confirmed his engagement during the Oct. 7 episode of The Joint Venture Show

He also revealed his dream wedding performers: Anita Baker, Keith Sweat and Babyface

Lil Wayne is ready to pass the mic at his wedding.

The rapper, 44, announced his engagement to Madi Cannon, 23, when he said, "I'm marrying this one. This is Madison. This is my fiancée," in a video posted Sept. 29 of them congratulating fellow Hot Boys member B.G. on his engagement to Brooke Jones.

Lil Wayne discussed his engagement during his appearance on the Oct. 7 episode of his podcast, The Joint Venture Show, when he thanked co-host Craig Carton, 57, for his congratulations. He also revealed his dream performers for his wedding.

Just a few minutes into the podcast, Carton presented the groom-to-be with a list of questions submitted by listeners. The first was: "Who would you want to perform at your wedding?"

"My first choice, of course, would be Miss Anita Baker," Lil Wayne answered.

The "Lollipop" singer noted that he doesn't want to pressure her into taking the gig. So, if the R&B icon, 68, isn't up for it he has two other backup performers in mind.

"I heard that she's getting a bit tired of performing, and I wouldn't want to stress her in any way," Lil Wayne said. "And so if not, then I'd go with Keith Sweat or Babyface."

If Baker takes the stage, Carton suggested that she serenade guests with her 1986 romantic and soulful ballad "Sweet Love."

"You know what? I would leave that choice up to the lady," Lil Wayne said.

The record label executive has fathered four kids: daughter Reginae, 27, and sons Dwayne, 17, Kameron, 17, and Neal, 16, with four different women: Antonia "Toya" Johnson, Sarah Vivan, Lauren London and Nivea.
