Lere Olayinka Reacts As Rufai Oseni & Ayo Mairo-Ese Discuss His Inclusion In Tinubu’s Campaign Team

Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has reacted after Arise Television presenters Rufai Oseni and Ayo Mairo-Ese discussed his inclusion in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s newly reconstituted Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

Olayinka reacted on Wednesday morning after the presenters analysed the updated list of members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s Directorate of Media and Strategic Communications on Arise TV’s Morning Show.

The list was released ahead of the formal inauguration of the campaign council by Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday.

Taking to social media, Olayinka appeared to take a swipe at Mairo-Ese, suggesting that the presenter had paid particular attention to his name despite the numerous individuals listed as members of the directorate.

“Of all the people whose names were published yesterday as members of the PBAT/APC Presidential Campaign Council’s Directorate of Media and Strategic Communications, @ayomairoese of @ARISEtv Morning Show only saw Lere Olayinka,” he wrote.

The FCT minister’s aide followed up with a sarcastic remark, referencing his confrontational political style and suggesting that his inclusion on the campaign team had become a subject of particular interest to the presenter.

“I hope this one dey sleep well with her husband on top Lere Olayinka’s ‘No Gree For Anybody’s’ style like this,” Olayinka added, accompanying the post with laughing emojis.

The reaction came amid discussions surrounding Tinubu’s revamped campaign structure and the individuals selected to handle media and strategic communications ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Olayinka’s post did not directly address the specific observations made by the presenters during the programme but focused on what he portrayed as Mairo-Ese’s particular interest in his inclusion on the team.
