Latest UCL Table: Barcelona stay top as Arsenal join six-point leaders
According to the latest UEFA Champions League standings on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, Barcelona, Sporting CP and Arsenal sit at the top of the league phase table after all three clubs recorded victories in their second matches of the competition.
Barcelona produced one of the biggest results of the night, coming from behind to defeat Galatasaray 4-1 in Istanbul and move onto six points. The Spanish side have a goal difference of +7 after scoring nine goals across their opening two matches.
Sporting CP also maintained a perfect record after defeating Lens 2-0 in France. The Portuguese side have six points and a +4 goal difference, while Arsenal occupy third place with the same number of points and goal difference after their 3-0 victory over Lille.
Arsenal have scored four goals without conceding in their opening two matches, following their earlier 1-0 win away to Napoli. Under UEFA’s current league-phase tie-break rules, goal difference is the first criterion used when teams are level on points, followed by goals scored and other criteria.
Bayern Munich moved onto four points after being held to a 3-3 draw by Viking in Norway. The German champions remain fourth with a +5 goal difference.
Paris Saint-Germain, who have played only one match so far, are fifth with three points and a +5 goal difference. Como, Manchester United, Stuttgart and Manchester City also remain inside the top eight, although United dropped to seventh after losing 2-0 to Atletico Madrid.
The defeat was United’s first in the league phase, leaving Michael Carrick’s side on three points from two matches. Atletico, Villarreal and several other clubs also have three points after Tuesday’s results.
Club Brugge produced one of the biggest surprises of the night by defeating Inter Milan 4-3 away from home. The Belgian side moved onto three points, while Inter remain without a point after two matches.
At the bottom, Lille, Slavia Prague, Inter, Napoli, Galatasaray, Porto, LASK, Feyenoord, Slovan Bratislava and Bodø/Glimt are among the clubs yet to record a league-phase victory.
Nine more league-phase matches are scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, meaning the standings will change again before Matchday 2 is completed. The remaining games include Manchester City vs Paris Saint-Germain, Roma vs Real Madrid, Aston Villa vs Fenerbahce and LASK vs Liverpool.
