“It won’t happen again” – Hearts of Oak defender Ransford Mensah targets victory over Vision FC

Hearts of Oak defender Ransford Mensah believes the Phobians are ready to overcome Vision FC when the two sides meet in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.

Hearts will be aiming for revenge after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Vision FC in their previous meeting, but Mensah insists his teammates are determined to secure a different outcome this time around.

“Yeah, they defeated us the last time, but it’s not going to happen again. We are very ready for this game because we went there last time and they defeated us 1-0,” Mensah told Hearts TV.

The Phobians go into the fixture with renewed confidence after recording a 1-0 victory over Port City in matchweek six.

Frank Abora Duku scored the decisive goal in the 20th minute to hand Hearts of Oak all three points and move them to second place on the league table with 11 points from six matches.

Hearts will now travel to face Vision FC at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 pm, as they look to continue their impressive run and strengthen their position in the league standings.
