Fans React To Video Of Lamine Yamal Taking A Picture With Mario Lemina’s Son After The Game

According to a post on its official X account on Wednesday October 14, 2026, BarçaTimes shared a video of Lamine Yamal taking a picture with Mario Lemina’s son after Barcelona’s 4-1 victory over Galatasaray, capturing a warm post-match moment that drew attention online.

The video, posted on Wednesday, October 14, shows the Barcelona forward posing with the young fan after the Champions League match in Istanbul. BarçaTimes captioned the video: “Lamine Yamal taking a picture with Mario Lemina’s son after the game. ❤🙌🏻”

The scene took on added interest because of comments Lemina had made about Yamal before the match.

The Galatasaray midfielder had previously been asked to compare Leroy Sané with the Barcelona teenager and responded: “Who is Lamine Yamal? I know Sané, I don’t know Lamine Yamal.”

The remark resurfaced around the teams’ meeting, adding an extra layer to the post-match interaction involving Lemina’s son.

The video showed Yamal stopping to pose for the picture, offering a friendly moment between the young Barcelona star and the midfielder’s family after a competitive European fixture.

On the pitch, Barcelona came from behind to secure a 4-1 win. Galatasaray took an early lead before Barcelona equalized, and Yamal contributed two assists as the visitors turned the match around in the second half.

His performance helped Barcelona claim a convincing result away from home.

While the match was defined by the score and Yamal’s creative contribution, the post-match video highlighted a more personal side of the evening.

The forward’s willingness to take a picture with Lemina’s son was warmly received by supporters, many of whom shared the clip across social media.
