EOCO grants Suame MP John Darko enquiry bail in GH¢27m SIC investigation

The Member of Parliament for Suame, John Darko, has been granted enquiry bail after reporting to the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to assist with investigations into an alleged GH¢27 million loss at SIC Savings and Loans Company Limited.In a statement dated Tuesday, October 13, 2026, EOCO said it was investigating an alleged criminal conspiracy linked to the financial loss, which has been revised to approximately GH¢27 million.
