Costco confirms plans to shut down over 600 stores in 48-hour blackout

COSTCO shoppers need to mark an upcoming store closure on their calendars.The wholesale giant will be shuttering all its US stores for a combined 48-hour blackout towards the end of the year.The first 24 hour shutdown will occur on Thanksgiving Day.That’s because Costco closes all its stores for Thanksgiving every year.
