A 7ft 2in influencer famed for being in a height-difference relationship has died aged 26.

Chinese TikTok creator Xiao Yue passed away on Monday, her husband Zihao sadly announced.

Xiao Yue reportedly suffered from pituitary gigantism, a rare condition caused by excessive growth hormones, as well as secondary diabetes.

But in July 2026, Zihao told followers that his wife’s health had worsened.

He explained how the internet personality had been diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and a meningioma, a tumor that grows in the protective membranes around the brain and spinal cord in the central nervous system.

In turn, it had caused severe hyperglycemia, kidney failure and other complications, as per Yangzte News.

Xiao Yue had been set to undergo surgery to remove the tumor in her brain.

However, she tragically passed away before the procedure could take place.

‘The doctor told me it was actually a very mild condition it would just be a minimally invasive procedure to remove the tumor from her brain,’ Zihao said in his tribute.

‘I never imagined this disease would take someone’s life.’

He added that his spouse was now free from pain and illness and prayed for her peace, joy and freedom from suffering.

Zihao concluded by acknowledging Xiao Yue’s upbeat personality, adding: ‘No matter what people said about her, she would always fulfill their requests.’

Xiao Yue’s final post to social media was dated August 18.

In the caption of that video, she wrote: ‘Even though life is full of hardships, there is still warmth to hold me up.’

The couple, who had been together for four years, had gained a legion of loyal followers after documenting their daily lives on social media.

Xiao Yue, from Sichuan, towered over her 5ft 5in husband and the pair welcomed a son in October 2025.

After news reached the internet, followers flooded to Xiao Yue’s profile to share their condolences.

‘Oh my god, how could it be so sudden? I just saw her dancing videos a few days ago,’ one wrote.

‘I used to watch them every day for the past few years. She’s no longer in pain in another world,’ another added.

‘Such a brave and sunny girl, and very beautiful. I hope you are at peace in another world. Goodnight,’ a third said.

The family is set to hold a simple funeral and will not have a memorial service in accordance with Xiao Yue’s wishes.
