US: They Will Suffer Many Casualties That They Will Be Forced To Raise White Flag Of Surrender–Naqdi
According to a report by Al Jazeera on Tuesday October 13, 2026, a senior adviser to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, has warned that the United States would suffer significant casualties if it attempted a ground invasion of Iran.
Naqdi issued the warning during a news conference, according to Iran’s Fars news agency, as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to raise concerns about the possibility of further military escalation.
The Iranian military figure maintained that American forces would face severe consequences if Washington decided to deploy ground troops into Iranian territory. He suggested that such an operation would expose US soldiers to substantial losses and could ultimately undermine the military campaign.
“They will suffer so many casualties that they will be forced to raise the white flag of surrender,” Naqdi said during the news conference.
The IRGC adviser also claimed that American officials understood the risks associated with launching a ground offensive against Iran, describing such a military operation as potentially disastrous for the United States.
His remarks reflect Tehran’s continued warnings against any attempt by Washington to expand military operations into a direct ground invasion. Iranian officials have repeatedly emphasised their readiness to resist foreign military action and have warned that an attack could trigger serious consequences.
A ground offensive would represent a significant escalation beyond military operations conducted without deploying troops into an opponent’s territory. Such an operation could expose American forces to prolonged fighting and increase the risks of casualties.
Naqdi’s comments also underscore the confrontational rhetoric surrounding the conflict, with Iranian officials seeking to discourage Washington from pursuing a direct invasion.
