UEFA Champions League: Real Madrid squad list to face AS Roma

According to a report by Madrid Universal on Tuesday October 13, 2026, Real Madrid have confirmed their squad for Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in Italy.

Manager Jose Mourinho has included Vinícius Júnior in the travelling squad as Los Blancos prepare to build on their 1-0 victory over Villarreal in La Liga.

Vinícius was sent off during the win over Villarreal and will miss Real Madrid’s next domestic fixture. However, the Brazilian winger is available for the European encounter and will be hoping to make a positive impact against Roma.

Real Madrid will be without four players for the game, with Éder Militão, Rodrygo Goes, Raúl Asencio and Ferland Mendy continuing their respective recoveries from injury.

Mendy would also have been unavailable even if fully fit, as he has not been registered in Real Madrid’s Champions League squad for this season.

Meanwhile, defender Dean Huijsen is set for a special occasion as he prepares to face Roma, where he previously spent time on loan from Juventus.

Mourinho’s side will be aiming to secure all three points in Rome as they continue their Champions League campaign.
