Three $50,000 Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In New York State

It was not only a lucky night for New York State's only NFL team, the Buffalo Bills, who beat the LA Rams 37-34 on Monday Night Football, it was also lucky for several lottery players in the state.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were three 3rd-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State from Monday's drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball to win $50,000 each.

On top of those three "Big Money" winning tickets in New York, there were also 88 4th and 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets won between $100 and $300 each.

Here were the winning numbers from last night's Powerball drawing: 22-28-38-51-69 with a Powerball number of 09.

There was no grand prize winner from last night's Powerball drawing. That means the jackpot for the next drawing on Wednesday night is now up to $562 million dollars. The lump sum take-home amount would be $230.4 million dollars.

The Powerball is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night around 10:59 pm EST.
