Temi Nkem Reacts to Critics Who Say She Doesn’t Deserve to Win Big Brother Naija

According to a video posted on Hero’s Therapy Podcast on Monday October 12, 2026, Big Brother Naija Season 11 winner Temi Nkem said that everyone in the top nine deserved to win, in response to a question about whether some people felt she was undeserving.

Ms Nkem spoke during an interview with the host, Hero. The host noted that some people had observed that the gap between the winner and the first runner-up was close.

She said it was the first time the two had been so near in percentage. She asked Ms Nkem if some people felt she did not deserve the win.

Ms Nkem said she was only seeing positive reactions. She said she was mainly on TikTok and Instagram. She said her father was handling her Facebook and X accounts.

In her words, Temi Nkem said, “Like I said, I’m only seeing positive things. So if they are saying that, then I don’t know. But honestly, I feel like everybody who was even in the top nine deserved it.

“We still showed ourselves. People still supported all of us. So yeah, everyone deserves it. Everybody,” she said.

Ms Nkem said the first runner-up was so close to her. She said the result showed how close the contest was. She added that she had no way of knowing what everyone was thinking.

She said that when she was in the house, the host of the show could not advise her too much. She said this was because doing so might reveal who would win.

She said she wanted to know what people were saying about her on social media. She said she was not sure she wanted to hear the answer.

She also said she was grateful to those who voted for her. She said she was surprised when she won. She said she needed another confirmation when she heard the result.
