San Antonio Police are trying to talk to a man who remains inside his home. Police say he is responsible for shooting a man on the street.

It started around 11:45 p.m. Monday, when a man riding his bicycle called police and said he had been shot in the chest. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say a neighbor’s Ring camera captured the shooting. When officers tried to approach the alleged gunman, who lives nearby on Faldo Way, he would not come outside. That led to a standoff.

Police have repeatedly tried to get him to come out, even using a bullhorn to speak with him.

We’re still working to learn more about the shooting and whether police have been able to make contact.
