Amid alleged medical woes, Diddy’s prison release date has changed multiple times since he began serving his sentence.

According to multiple reports, the disgraced rap mogul was reportedly sent to solitary confinement in July after a prison fight with another inmate.

The incident began after a fellow inmate “made a remark to Combs, which instigated the event” at FCI Fort Dix, ABC News reported at the time.

Diddy was then reportedly sent to solitary confinement, the outlet noted. It’s unclear if his release date was delayed due to the reported fight. He’s now expected to be released from prison in March 2028.

In September 2024, the “Last Night” singer was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges after months of sexual misconduct allegations, lawsuits, investigations and the release of surveillance video that appeared to show the rapper severely beating then-girlfriend Cassie in the hallway of a Los Angeles hotel.

He was sentenced to more than four years behind bars in October after being convicted in July on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

A jury convicted Diddy on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on July 2, 2025. The “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper was acquitted of the most serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

In addition to the 50-month sentence, Diddy was ordered to serve five years of supervised release and pay a $500,000 fine. The prosecution recommended 135 months (just over 11 years) for his sentencing.
