Officers were dispatched to the area of Ellicott Drive and Oakhurst Place around 5:15 pm.

There, investigators said, officers found 18-year-old Donte Gregory with at least one gunshot wound. Gregory was later pronounced dead.

A short time later three more male shooting victims arrived at an area hospital.

According to the Department, the males, ages 22, 21 and 19 had also been shot at the scene.

Investigators confirmed 19-year-old Wesley Harris was later pronounced dead by hospital staff.

According to dispatch audio, responding officers located a gun and shell casings at the scene.

BPD would not confirm the recovery of a weapon.

FOX45 News asked if BPD believes this was an exchange of gunfire, and if so is it believed any of the shooting victims are believed to have also opened fire.

A spokesperson responded saying detectives are waiting on the results from all ballistic evidence, as well as still investigating and reviewing footage.

BPD confirmed a suspect has not yet been identified.

"Detectives are hearing multiple theories on what the motive may be. They are following up on all leads."

According to the latest online statistics, homicides are down 20% and non-fatal shootings are up 8% in the western district compared to this time last year.

This shooting marks the third mass shooting in Baltimore in recent weeks.

Earlier this month, 14-year-old Khloe Ishway was fatally shot and four others injured in a shooting at Leon Day Park in northwest Baltimore. Tyree Reynolds has since been arrested and charged with murder.

Last month seven people including a toddler were shot in east Baltimore. No arrests have been made in that case.

Anyone with information on this latest case is asked to contact Baltimore Police or Metro Crime Stoppers.
