Rapper Diddy hospitalised after head injury in prison
Sean “Diddy” Combs was taken out of a New Jersey federal lockup by ambulance over the weekend so he could receive medical treatment for a head injury, according to a report.
The 56-year-old rapper – who’s been serving a 50-month sentence on a prostitution-related conviction – was transported from FCI Fort Dix in the Garden State on Saturday morning, according to a report by TMZ.
It wasn’t immediately clear how he injured his head or what facility he was taken to.
But the Bad Boys Records founder only got out of the clink for a few hours, leaving the facility around 1 a.m. and returning before 7 a.m., the outlet reported.
The disgraced music mogul made headlines Friday, when it was reported he received a harsh penalty at the low-security prison because of his alleged cushy treatment and a contraband cell phone he was accused of using to view racy content.
He was sanctioned by prison officials for “disruptive conduct” and was stripped of 41 days of good conduct time – time that can be accrued for good behavior and can result in an early release. Diddy’s original release date, which was January 2028, has now been postponed until March of that year.
Diddy allegedly had a contraband phone behind bars, which he used to view X-rated materials sent from an ex-girlfriend.
He also reportedly paid big bucks to have access to massages, booze and special meals and for someone to ensure his toilet and shower were always clean before he used them, according to a report by NBC.
He was convicted in July 2025 following a two-month trial that featured graphic and sensational testimony about how for years he conducted “freak off” sex sessions with his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and other women.
He allegedly hired male prostitutes to have sex with the women, who he forced to take drugs, during lube-laden parties that sometimes lasted for days.
Diddy was acquitted of sex-trafficking and racketeering charges but was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
