Prosser man claims self defense in fatal shooting of brother

PROSSER, Wash. – A Prosser man accused of shooting and fatally wounding his brother on Monday night made his first appearance in court on Tuesday, where his attorney claimed he acted in self defense in the shooting.According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, just after 6 p.m. on October 12, deputies responded to a reported shooting at a home on north Rothrock Road near Prosser.
