HomeNews OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Puts a 200MP Sensor Behind All Three Rear Cameras By Amy Porter October 13, 2026 FacebookXPinterestWhatsApp Image: OPPO Quick Facts:

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the first phone with three 200MP cameras, says OPPO. Specifically, its main, ultra-wide and telephoto lenses each sit in front of a 200MP sensor. On October 8, the company confirmed the series’ global debut for October 21 in Mallorca, Spain, according to OPPO’s press release.

The phone is not new everywhere. It launched in mainland China on September 22, so the camera figures below come from OPPO’s China pages. However, OPPO has not published global specs, pricing or a market list yet.

Photographers have reason to watch this one. The Xiaomi 18 Pro triple Leica cameras and the Honor Magic9 Pro Max each carry two 200MP sensors, so the third one is the real story.

Every rear camera also records 4K at 120fps and 8K at 30fps. For example, footage at those settings leaves little room for shaky hands. The DJI Osmo Mobile 7P gimbal steadies the shot, while the UBeesize 70-inch Magnetic Selfie Stick Tripod holds it still. Also, the SmallRig Universal Phone Cage adds handles. All three list Android support. Specifically, OPPO’s China spec sheet puts the Pro Max at 76.57mm wide, and SmallRig rates the cage for phones 57 to 90mm wide, with a case on.

OPPO’s global release confirms the three 200MP sensors and the video modes. However, it lists no sensor sizes or apertures, so those numbers come from OPPO’s China product pages.

The main and telephoto cameras use optical stabilization, and OPPO claims 17 stops of dynamic range at 1x. Treat the 17 stops as an OPPO claim until independent tests arrive. Also, the telephoto focuses as close as 10cm. OPPO says the 124-degree ultra-wide takes in 202% of the light of last year’s ultra-wide. However, OPPO measured this in its own lab, using 50MP photos in Hasselblad’s high-resolution mode.

Open Gate capture is new to OPPO’s imaging flagships. Because it uses the full imaging area of the sensor, one clip reframes for landscape and portrait in post. However, the China page lists 200MP photos at 0.5x, 1x and 3x, and only in Hasselblad’s high-resolution mode.

OPPO promises full specifications, pricing and availability on October 21. Until then, four gaps matter.

First, the battery. The release lists 8,000mAh for both models, with a footnote saying capacity varies by market and falls to 7,150mAh in selected markets. For example, the UK store already lists 7,150mAh for the Pro Max.

Second, the price. None exists for the global launch, so ignore converted figures. Third, the markets. The release names Spain for the event and “global” for the launch, with no United States date. Tech Advisor’s coverage of OPPO’s previous flagship launch noted no US availability. Therefore, treat a US release of the new phone as unconfirmed.

Fourth, the accessories. The China page sells a Hasselblad extender kit separately and claims 20x lossless zoom with it in bright light. Meanwhile, the UK store offers a free teleconverter kit with a £49 deposit. Global kit details remain unpublished.

The Find X9 Pro pairs a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide with a 200MP 70mm telephoto. It carries a 7,500mAh battery and launched globally on October 28, 2025. OPPO’s Spain store lists it at €1,199, down from a €1,299 recommended price. In addition, the new phone keeps the same 70mm telephoto length and adds 500mAh in China trim.

The main camera needs a closer look. Its sensor stays near the same physical size, 1/1.3-inch against last year’s 1/1.28-inch, and both lenses open to f/1.5. Four times the pixels on a similar sensor means smaller pixels. Therefore, expect the gain in cropping room first, and wait for low-light tests.

Rivals take different routes. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max uses a 200MP main camera and a 200MP 75mm periscope, but its ultra-wide stays at 50MP. Meanwhile, the Vivo X500 Pro Max camera keeps a 50MP main sensor and spends its 200MP on an 85mm telephoto. In contrast, among the phones above, only OPPO puts 200MP behind the ultra-wide.

If you shoot RAW, ask one question of every review. What file size and format does the global unit save at 200MP? However, OPPO has not said. Most photographers also need far fewer pixels, as our guide on how many megapixels you need explains. Judge this phone on lens quality and processing, not the megapixel count.

If you own a Find X9 Pro, your telephoto length stays at 70mm. Therefore, the upgrade case rests on the main and ultra-wide cameras, so wait for sample galleries. My advice: hold your money until October 21 brings a price, a market list and independent samples.

If you plan to shoot 8K, plan your storage once global specs arrive. Because OPPO has not published 200MP file sizes, leave room for large files. A USB-C portable drive such as the Samsung T7 Portable SSD, the rugged Samsung T7 Shield Portable SSD or the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD moves your files off the phone and onto your editing machine.

This is a launch to follow closely, not one to act on yet. Specifically, a third 200MP sensor on the ultra-wide is the part I care about most. For example, a wide view of a canyon or an old street deserves sharp edges, not only a sharp middle. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max and Vivo X500 Pro Max both keep a 50MP ultra-wide. If OPPO’s processing holds up, those scenes gain first.

However, I would not pay for megapixels alone. The main sensor stays near last year’s size, the price is unknown, and a US release is unconfirmed. For a flagship phone camera today, the Find X9 Pro sells in Europe with a 200MP telephoto. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has one too, but no US release date.

Global specs, pricing and the first real samples arrive on and after October 21. Until then, keep your money and watch for the sample galleries.

OPPO will launch it globally on October 21, 2026, in Mallorca, Spain. The phone launched in mainland China on September 22.

OPPO has not announced a global price. The company says it will reveal full specifications, pricing and availability on October 21.

It has three 200MP cameras on the back: a main camera, an ultra-wide and a 3x telephoto. OPPO says this is the first phone with a triple 200MP system.

OPPO has not said. Its October 8 release names Spain and a global debut but gives no US date.

Yes. OPPO says it co-developed the camera system with Hasselblad and calls it a Hasselblad True-to-Life Camera.
