Maraga further urged members of the Kisii community not to support him merely because of their shared background.

He asked Kenyans to vote for leaders based on integrity, competence and a clear national vision, not ethnicity.

He said the 2027 General Election should be a contest of ideas and leadership, not tribal loyalty, as the country seeks a government committed to justice, unity and development.

Maraga is the United Green Movement (UGM) CO-Party leader and the 2027 presidential flagbearer.
