Man United could lose £51m signing after just two years as two European giants circle
The defender has struggled for regular minutes under Michael Carrick despite arriving at Old Trafford as a major long-term investment.
PSG are planning a shock raid for Manchester United youngster Leny Yoro, while another top European side challenges on the periphery.
Luis Enrique’s men have won the last two editions of the Champions League — the first in the Ligue 1 side’s history — and are now looking to bring Yoro back to France.
PSG are long-time admirers of the 20-year-old and are enticed by his versatility, having played at both right-back and centre-back for his Red Devils side, under Michael Carrick.

According to TEAMtalk, PSG perceive Yoro as one of the strongest defensive talents to emerge from France in recent years; Manchester United secured his services for £51.4million in 2024.
Since then, the Frenchman has made 71 appearances for the Red Devils, but has played just 88 Premier League minutes this term for a struggling Red Devils side placed 13th in the top-flight standings.
The 20-year-old, now fighting for much-needed minutes under Carrick, received a rare international start from new boss Zinedine Zidane in France’s recent Nations League clash against Belgium.
Having been a starter under previous Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, who has gotten off to a soaring Serie A start with AC Milan in Italy, the Frenchman’s progress has stalled under Carrick.
In a separate report, TEAMtalk revealed that Yoro is “very much playing for his future at the club,” however, Manchester United continue to insist that they remain committed to the Frenchman.
Despite their stance, the Red Devils recently re-activated interest in a series of defensive targets, including Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite, valued at £80million.
While Manchester United view Yoro as a significant long-term investment, PSG are hoping to prise the Frenchman away from Old Trafford, and test the Premier League side’s commitment.

While PSG can offer the 20-year-old an opportunity to return to his homeland, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also challenging on the European periphery.
Both teams present Yoro the possibility of regular football and continued development, which isn’t guaranteed for the 20-year-old, as things stand, at Manchester United.
Upon the Red Devils’ return to English top-flight action, the Frenchman stepped in at right-back, playing 59 minutes versus Tottenham Hotspur in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.
That was Yoro’s first start of the current Premier League term, having played under 30 minutes across Manchester United’s previous five fixtures.
The 20-year-old made 12 defensive contributions, winning two of his three tackle attempts, three of his six duel attempts, and making a last man tackle versus the North London club.
“It’s a position I can play,” said Yoro post-match. “If I play centre back or right back, I’m happy to play. Different things to do, of course, but you have to adapt.
“Whatever the position, I’m ready and happy to play,” concluded the 20-year-old. His long-term future in Manchester remains unclear, but PSG and Bayern Munich are prowling.
