Final SIM Registration Exercise Announced – Sam George

Ghana’s Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has indicated that the current SIM registration exercise will mark the end of the country’s SIM re-registration programme.

According to a post published on TV3 Ghana’s official Facebook page on March 17, 2026, the Minister emphasized that the ongoing exercise is designed to serve as the final round of SIM re-registration in the country.

Additional guidance on deadlines, registration procedures and compliance obligations is expected to be communicated by the Ministry in due course.
