A 48-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly fleeing the scene of a fatal collision that claimed two lives on the N8 near Schmidtsdrift in the Northern Cape.The deadly crash occurred on 3 October 2026 and involved a Volkswagen Polo, a Toyota Fortuner and a state vehicle transporting members of the Upington Public Order Police.
