Delta blasts Selma Blair for ‘unruly behavior’ after mid-flight biting incident

Delta Airlines has responded to Selma Blair allegedly punching one flight attendant and biting another on a flight Sunday.

“Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first,” a spokesperson for the airline told Page Six in a statement. The incident took place on Delta flight 938 from LAX in Los Angeles to JFK in New York City on Oct. 11.

“No operational impact to the flight as the flight landed ahead of schedule at JFK,” the spokesperson added. “Law enforcement responded upon the flight’s arrival at JFK.”

Delta has deferred “further comment to local law enforcement.”

A rep for Blair told Page Six, “Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.” The “Hell Boy” actress revealed she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018.

TMZ first reported that the “Legally Blonde” actress was arrested following an incident on board a Delta Flight last night, in which she allegedly punched one flight attendant, and bit another.

Sources confirm to Page Six that Blair allegedly attacked flight attendants aboard the plane, biting one and leaving a mark. The source added that Blair was accompanied by a service dog.Two flight attendants reported injuries, while one was taken to the hospital.

In the book, she confessed to biting supermodel Kate Moss, actress Sienna Miller, and “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane.

The recent Delta Air Lines incident is not the first time Blair has been removed from a flight. In June 2016, she caused a disturbance aboard a Los Angeles-bound flight after allegedly mixing medication with alcohol.

The “Dancing With the Stars” alum looked back on the “horrifying and humiliating” ordeal in 2024.

“I was so messed up and dehydrated and hungover and didn’t know I had neurological issues,” she told Us Weekly. “I didn’t understand anything … I had to grow up.”
