Court grants bail to Rawalpindi ADC’s husband in abuse case

A court in Rawalpindi has granted bail to the husband of Additional Deputy Commissioner Maliha Sahar Khatoon in a case involving allegations of physical and mental abuse, theft and criminal intimidation.

Civil Judge Asim Mumtaz approved the bail application of the accused, whose wife had registered a case against him at the Women’s Police Station in Rawalpindi.

According to the case details, the additional deputy commissioner accused her husband of physical and mental abuse, theft and criminal intimidation.

The accused had previously obtained bail but was re-arrested after charges of theft and criminal intimidation were added to the case.

The court has now granted him bail in the case.
