Ashanti Region, please forgive us for our wrongs against you while in power—Karbo begs
A staff member of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s office, Anthony Karbo, has appealed to the people of the Ashanti Region to forgive the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He acknowledges that, during the eight years the party was in power, they did not treat the region as they were supposed to, considering the fact that it was their stronghold.
To him, all those who were peeved and decided not to vote in the 2024 elections should forgive and forget the sins of the political party while in power.
“Ashanti Region, which is the stronghold of the NPP, whatever we did that did not go well, please forgive us. The party belongs to you, and so we should all come on board and support our flagbearer and all our new executives so that we can unite and ensure that the party wins the 2028 election,” he said.
Karbo used the opportunity to call on all other members of the party who don’t want anything to do with the party to come on board and ensure that they present a united front to the people of Ghana.
