APC Victory Is Shaking, But They Don’t Believe Anyone Can Defeat Them- Primate Elijah Ayodele

According to a report by Daily Post on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has expressed doubts about the chances of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 presidential election, warning that President Bola Tinubu’s possible defeat could have significant consequences for the country’s electoral process.

The cleric suggested that despite the ruling party’s confidence in securing victory, the political situation could produce an unexpected outcome.

According to Ayodele, members of the APC appear convinced that no opposition party or candidate can defeat them at the polls. However, he maintained that such confidence does not necessarily guarantee victory for Tinubu in the forthcoming election.

He also suggested that the president’s political ambitions appear closely tied to retaining his position, warning that an electoral defeat could trigger widespread disappointment among his supporters and other political stakeholders.

He said, “APC victory is shaking, but they don’t believe anyone can defeat them, and Tinubu doesn’t see beyond the Presidency. A lot of people will cry if he loses the election. It will be unbelievable and painful to so many. If Tinubu loses the election, it can change the electoral process in Nigeria,” he added.
