2 rides closed at Kings Island following Six Flags death
Following a rollercoaster-related death at Six Flags on Monday, Oct. 12, the amusement park is closing several rides out of an abundance of caution, including some at its subsidiary, Kings Island.
According to a park spokesperson, nine coasters have been closed for the time being. There is no timeline for when these attractions will reopen.
While many of the rides temporarily closed are at Six Flags locations, Kings Island has two rides closed until further notice, including Orion and Diamondback.
āOut of an abundance of caution, we have temporarily closed similar attractions across our parks. The safety of our guests and team members remains one of our highest priorities,ā says a park spokesperson.
