16-year-old boy fatally stabbed on Cleveland’s West Side

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed on the city’s West side early Tuesday morning.

Cleveland police responded to the 2700 block of Loop Dr. around 5:55 a.m.

This is in a Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) complex.

According to Cleveland police, officers immediately began rendering first aid to the teenager, but he died at the scene.

Police added the suspect and victim are believed to have known each other.
