Woman accuses Vincent Assafuah of using her before going on to marry another woman

A Ghanaian TikToker identified as Lopez has made allegations about her past interactions with Old Tafo Member of Parliament Vincent Ekow Assafuah following his private wedding.

Lopez claims the lawmaker misled her before marrying Dr. Charis, a medical doctor and entrepreneur. In a video circulating on social media, she expressed disappointment after seeing photographs of the wedding, alleging that Assafuah had given her the impression that led her to believe their relationship could develop further.

According to Lopez, the MP first contacted her through social media direct messages approximately five months before his wedding. She alleged that their online conversations eventually led to an in-person meeting and a date.

She further claimed that during the outing, Assafuah invited her to spend the night. Lopez said she was subsequently surprised to discover the viral wedding photographs, which prompted her to speak publicly about their alleged past relationship.
