Footage of a brawl reportedly taking place at an 8-year-old’s football game near Tampa, Florida, is circulating on social media.
Click for sound 0:00 / 0:00 Twitter/X user Matt Van Swol posted a video on Monday captioned, “Chaos ERUPTED at 8-YEAR-OLD’s football game near Tampa FL after THE PARENTS stormed the field and began BEATING THE KIDS, EACH OTHER, and the COACHES!!!!”
The video shows adults crowding midfield among players in white and yellow uniforms. The scoreboard reads 0:00, and the home side appears to lead 16-0.
One man stood out. He wore black clothing, sunglasses and a chain, and held a small black bag against his chest.
He’s also heard saying, “Aye, come on. Come on over here. I got something for that s**t” while running to another area.
He keeps a hand inside it and walks around as if he is about to pull something out. A woman in a gray tank top grips his arm at one point.
He definitely behaves as if there’s a weapon in the bag but never pulls anything out in the video.

“These aren’t parents. These are overgrown toddlers with zero impulse control who somehow managed to reproduce. Their kids are out there trying to learn how to tackle and instead get front row seats to Mom and Dad turning the sideline into a WWE hardcore match. Real role models” one user wrote in the comments.
“Parents living vicariously through their children turn a kids’ game into chaos. I’ve seen this at my own children’s games 🤦♂️- It’s a game! Is your kid having fun whether they win or lose? that’s all that matters.” another user said.
This clip joins a growing list of youth football incidents. According to CBS Pittsburgh, Carnegie police charged three coaches after a brawl at a game for third and fourth graders last month.
Police Chief Jeffrey Kennedy called the conduct “not an example that I believe you should be setting for kids.”
The league later permanently barred one coach over the fight.
A Florida mom was arrested after allegedly kicking a 13-year-old player in Fort Myers back in May, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
The latest incident adds one more to that list.
