Last Saturday's show in New Orleans saw Tiffany Stratton and Penta emerge with the opportunistic briefcases, Oba Femi conquer Bronson Reed, Roman Reigns retain the World Heavyweight Championship and Liv Morgan regain the Women's World Championship.
As eventful of an evening as it was, there was also a general sense of dissatisfaction from fans regarding the lack of true change in the WWE landscape. Penta being elevated was an encouraging sign, but Reigns, Morgan and Stratton staying in the same spots hardly generated much excitement.
Reigns vs. Sami Zayn in a champion vs. champion clash seems to be set in stone for Saudi Arabia on Nov. 7, but the rest of the card won't be become clear until the upcoming episodes of Raw and SmackDown.
Until then, the following is the most likely lineup for WWE Crown Jewel 2026.
WWE/WWE via Getty Images Since 2024, WWE has pit the Undisputed WWE champion up against the World Heavyweight champion in the main event of Crown Jewel, not only for brand supremacy but also the Men's Crown Jewel Championship.
The gaudy-looking title belt has no barring on WWE programming beyond Crown Jewel, simply bragging rights for whoever wins it. Cody Rhodes was the inaugural champ in 2024, followed by Seth Rollins in 2025.
This year's installment should see Roman Reigns rekindling his rivalry with Sami Zayn with both currently being in possession of the Undisputed WWE and World Heavyweight titles, respectively.
Of course, the two have history dating back to their days in The Bloodline together, specifically when Zayn severed ties with the group in early 2023 and unsuccessfully challenged Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in his hometown of Montreal at Elimination Chamber.
They later reunited as part of a brief Bloodline reunion for WarGames at Survivor Series 2024, but Zayn is a drastically different character today than he was then, so the dynamic for a rematch between them at Crown Jewel will make it that much more interesting, despite the outcome not being in doubt.
WWE/WWE via Getty Images The Women's Crown Jewel Championship has also been a staple of Crown Jewel for the past two years and is expected to once again be up for grabs at the 2026 installment.
Liv Morgan competed for the title and walked away with it by virtue of her victory over Nia Jax at Crown Jewel 2024. She has a chance to become the first two-time champ this year when she battles the reigning WWE Women's champion Chelsea Green.
That's assuming both women will still be holding their titles by then. Tiffany Stratton could realistically cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase on either of them, and it's no secret that her friendship with Green is strictly a transactional one for her.
Morgan just regained the Women's World Championship in a Triple Threat against Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank. She has no obvious challengers waiting in the wings, so this bout with Green will at least keep her busy for the next few weeks.
On paper, Morgan vs. Green isn't a barn burner by any means, and a win for Morgan feels like a foregone conclusion, but perhaps they'll surprise fans with strong in-ring chemistry and a quality contest.
WWE/WWE via Getty Images Chad Gable hasn't had any significant storylines in his two months as Intercontinental champion, but he has maintained his momentum by taking on all comers and delivering some certified show-stealers.
His title defenses against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee in particular were phenomenal and showcased just how tremendous of a talent he is. He's also been at odds with Ethan Page, who has been denied an opportunity at the title by Gable until he can earn one.
His recent losses to Lee and Rey Fenix haven't helped his cause any, but Gable and Page are clearly on a collision course for a championship match, which would be a welcome addition to the Crown Jewel card.
Despite his setbacks, Page might pose the biggest threat to the Intercontinental title at the moment. In addition to being the perfect fit as champion, him putting Gable back in chase mode for a bit could heat up the championship picture.
The prestigious prize hasn't been on the line at a premium live event since SummerSlam, and WrestleMania 42 before that, so it deserves to be spotlighted on the Crown Jewel stage.
Grading TNA Bound For Glory đBleacher Report8hLA Knight Devastated đBleacher Report15hGrading Wild MITB PLE đŽâđ¨Bleacher Report1dLast Man Standing Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton4 of 5WWE/WWE via Getty Images WWE did such an abysmal job handling the Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton rivalry heading into WrestleMania 42 that it was imperative they redeemed themselves at some point.
Sure enough, Orton resurfaced at SummerSlam to cost Cody the Undisputed WWE Championship, and the two have been at each other's throats ever since. Rhodes won their original encounter in fluky fashion at 'Mania and Orton avenged the loss in the rematch at Sunday Night's Main Event in early September, so the stage is set for a heated rubber match.
Since they were omitted from the Money in the Bank card, it only makes sense for them to have their big blowoff at Crown Jewel. Furthermore, the match must have some sort of a stipulation and Money in the Bank would be befitting of the feud.
Neither man can reenter the world title scene on SmackDown until they settle their score, and there's no reason to drag it out until Survivor Series. If the champion vs. champion matches at Crown Jewel aren't enough for the average fan, a marquee matchup between Rhodes and Orton would be a worthy attraction.
This should be where Rhodes gives Orton his comeuppance by punting him in the head and embracing that inner edge he's been eschewing for so long.
WWE/WWE via Getty Images It's possible WWE adds something to Crown Jewel that involves furthering the feud between The Bloodline and The 946, but they must first face off in six-man tag team action on Monday's Raw.
Instead, it would be a spectacle to see Oba Femi and Je'Von Evans join forces to fight The Vision for the World Tag Team Championshipâand it would make total storyline sense, too.
Femi has been embroiled in a rivalry with The Vision since shortly following SummerSlam, first targeting Bron Breakker and then the returning Bronson Reed. As evidenced by his decisive win over Reed at Money in the Bank, Femi has demonstrated that he can hold his own against the group, but enlisting the help of an ally in Evans to take their tag titles would be the ultimate blow.
Evans has had his own issues with The Vision as of late. After being laid out by the faction on Friday's SmackDown, Evans was tossed off a ladder through the top of an ambulance by Breakker at Money in the Bank, so he could be looking for revenge as soon as Raw.
The red brand's tag team division has been depleted for months, so throwing Femi and Evans together as a makeshift tandem and giving them the tag titles would make for a fun run and kill more time for Femi until WWE is ready to put him in the hunt for the World Heavyweight Championship.
