Two Teens Killed, Two Others Injured in West Baltimore Shooting

The shooting occurred near Ellicott Drive and Oakhurst Place in the Winchester neighborhood, where investigators say more than 20 rounds were fired.

Four young men were struck by gunfire. An 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. A 19-year-old was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Two additional victims, ages 21 and 22, survived the shooting.

Investigators reportedly recovered a handgun with an extended magazine from an alley near the scene. However, police have not identified any suspects or announced arrests.

The violence marks Baltimore’s second mass shooting involving young people in less than a week.

Just days earlier, 12-year-old Khloe Ishway was killed and four others were injured during a shooting at a youth football game at Leon Day Park.

Police arrested Tyree Reynolds in connection with Ishway’s death, while authorities continue searching for another suspected shooter.

The recent violence has sparked renewed concerns about public safety and gun violence affecting Baltimore’s youth.

Baltimore City State’s Attorney Ivan Bates has pledged to pursue tough sentences against individuals responsible for violent crimes.

Baltimore has recorded at least 89 homicides this year, representing a 13% decrease compared to the same period last year.
