The Post’s college football rankings, Heisman watch following Week 6
Georgia defensive back KJ Bolden (4) and Georgia defensive lineman Jordan Hall (44) combine to tackle Alabama running back Trae’shawn Brown (17) at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026. USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect The Post’s Zach Braziller ranks the top teams after Week 6 of the college football season:
The team to beat, after pulling out a gutsy win at Alabama. Two regular season challenges remain: Ole Miss and Missouri in November.
The Buckeyes have looked the part since the Texas loss, cruising to four straight wins by a combined 177-52. Up next: defending national champion Indiana, and a shot at revenge for last year’s Big Ten championship game loss.
Finally, a real opponent awaits. BYU may not have star running back LJ Martin on Saturday, but the undefeated Cougars will make Notre Dame earn it, unlike the string of cupcakes the Irish have devoured so far.
