Selma Blair was arrested after allegedly attacking members of the flight crew aboard a Delta aircraft on Sunday.

TMZ reports the actress attempted to open the aircraft door while the plane was in the air on its way to John F. Kennedy International Airport from LAX, leading to a ‘confrontation’ with crew members.

It was claimed Blair punched one flight attendant and bit another, after trying to open the plane’s door in the middle of the flight.

A representative for Blair told the publication, ‘Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.’

The New York Port Authority told the publication two flight attendants reported injuries and one was taken to the hospital.

Blair was arrested and taken to a hospital for evaluation, where she remains as of this post. The FBI is currently investigating the incident.

A Delta spokesman told The Daily Mail, ‘Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first.’

‘My son was with his Dad asleep with his headphones on, so there is that saving grace. I take this very seriously, and I apologize to all of the passengers and crew that I disturbed and am thankful to all of the people who helped me in the aftermath. I
