Police constable killed, four injured in attack on SHO’s vehicle in Quetta

A police constable was killed and four personnel were injured when unidentified assailants opened fire on the vehicle of the Satellite Town station house officer (SHO) near Mir Hotel in Quetta.

Balochistan Chief Minister’s Assistant for Information and Political Affairs Shahid Rind confirmed the casualties and condemned the attack on police personnel.

He said one constable was martyred and four other personnel sustained injuries in the firing incident.

Rind paid tribute to the slain constable and said the injured personnel were being provided with the best available medical facilities.

He said an investigation into the attack was underway and those responsible would be brought to justice.
