Petrol price cut by Rs2.93, diesel increased by 61 paisa per litre

The government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs2.93 per litre while increasing the price of high-speed diesel by 61 paisa per litre, with the revised rates taking effect from October 13.

According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been reduced from Rs398.30 to Rs395.37 per litre.

The price of high-speed diesel has been increased by 61 paisa per litre, taking the new rate to Rs396.85 from the previous Rs396.24 per litre.

The revised prices will come into effect on Tuesday, October 13.
