Omaha woman arrested after double stabbing

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha Police arrested a woman after officers said she stabbed two people early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to a home near 85th and Blondo streets just before 5 a.m.

They found a 47-year-old woman and her 13-year-old son with stab wounds.

Investigators said the woman told them her daughter stabbed her and her son before leaving the scene.

Both victims went to the hospital with serious injuries.

Officers later found the suspect, 20-year-old Akon Anyoun, near 85th and Seward streets.

Anyoun was booked into jail on assault and weapons charges.
