Man dies after shooting at Cleveland AutoZone

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A man died Sunday after being shot at an AutoZone on the city’s West side.

The shooting happened in the 14800 block of Puritas Ave.

According to Cleveland police, officers were called to the store for a report of shots fired.

When they arrived, they found the victim, an approximately 61-year-old man, suffering from a gunshot wound.

EMS transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

There are no arrests at this time and the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit is investigating.
