FC Ashantigold head coach Abdul Karim Zito has stressed that his team must improve their finishing ahead of matches against Aduana FC and Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.

The team returned to winning ways on Sunday, defeating FC Samartex in their week six fixture of the 2026/27 campaign.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Karim Zito raised concern about the team’s profligacy, arguing that they should have scored at least three goals.

“We should have had about three goals, but tactically I’m okay,” he told journalists.

With big matches against Aduana FC and Asante Kotoko coming up, Karim Zito has emphasized that his team must improve their finishing before the contests come around.

“If you look at our upcoming games, we are going to play Aduana FC, and then we play Asante Kotoko. It’s not going to be easy. We don’t have to miss chances,” Zito added.

The next battle against Aduana FC is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Then on October 25, FC Ashantigold will host Asante Kotoko at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.
