Iran:We’ve Been There For 6 Months, They Lost 4,500. We Lost 18;Their Navy, Air force Is Gone—Trump
According to a report by Firstpost, on Monday October 12, 2026, former U.S. President Donald Trump has asserted that Iran’s military and economic infrastructure has been severely crippled following months of intense regional conflict, pointing to devastating casualty discrepancies and soaring inflation rates as evidence of Tehran’s collapse.
Speaking on the strategic balance of power and recent operations, Trump highlighted the lopsided casualty figures and the near-total degradation of Iranian military capabilities.
“In Iran, we have been there for 6 months with 18 killed. By the way, one is too many, but they lost 4,500. We lost 18,” Trump stated.
The former president pointed to upcoming developments while describing a nation grappling with catastrophic economic ruin and the complete neutralization of its conventional armed forces.
“And we have very soon, you’ll see things happening very soon. But we have a nation that’s been virtually destroyed. Their economy is no good. They have 300% plus inflation. Their navy is gone. Their air force is gone,” he added.
