The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) bank account checks could be rolled out to MORE benefits having been introduced in October for Universal Credit, Pension Credit and Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), it has been claimed.SmartSearch, a compliance comnpany, said the new account checks could be extended to “any other benefits where identity, financial circumstances or residency are relevant”.
