Sen. Darline Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, tried to blame the Democratic Party for the origins of the U.S. war on Iran during an October 11 debate in Columbia. The debate, hosted by the state’s public broadcasting network, also featured Democratic nominee Annie Andrews and Libertarian candidate Kasie Whitener.
